Our Technology
Etherlink is a newly developed Fast, Fair and (Nearly) Free Layer 2 blockchain built on top of Tezos. By harnessing the power of Tezos Smart Rollup technology, Etherlink allows EVM builders and users to take advantage of the flexibility, security and self-amendment capabilities of Tezos whilst using all the apps and tools already familiar to them!

The Role

The core mission of the DeFi team is to foster the DeFi community on the Etherlink and Tezos ecosystems. Our team is dedicated to supporting apps and protocols that make DeFi on Etherlink and Tezos the most efficient and user-friendly experience available.

We are looking for individuals with a genuine passion for DeFi and a strong ownership mentality who can drive projects forward to product-market fit by identifying the right partners and leveraging internal resources on the legal, recruiting, engineering and adoption side.

What you’ll do

  • Research the latest developments in the DeFi space to identify new market opportunities and partners

  • Work closely with our existing ecosystem partners to drive innovation for end users

  • Develop thought pieces on the future of DeFi to navigate future strategy

  • Work collaboratively, sharing knowledge and insights, and actively contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous learning, driving the team towards achieving its strategic goals

What you’ll need

  • Excellent academic credentials

  • A deep understanding of DeFi and Crypto projects (e.g. Lido, Uniswap, AAVE, etc.)

  • A strong sense of the current state of regulation and a desire to stay abreast of the topic

  • An ability to deeply understand protocol/dApp mechanisms by interpreting solidity smart contracts

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of working collaboratively in a team setting

  • Exceptional creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex operational challenges
