Our Technology
Etherlink is a newly developed Fast, Fair and (Nearly) Free Layer 2 blockchain built on top of Tezos. By harnessing the power of Tezos Smart Rollup technology, Etherlink allows EVM builders and users to take advantage of the flexibility, security and self-amendment capabilities of Tezos whilst using all the apps and tools already familiar to them!

The Role
The core mission of the Etherlink Infrastructure Team is to help build and support robust infrastructure and developer-friendly tools that can simplify and enhance the development process on the Etherlink blockchain. Our team is dedicated to removing complexities and streamlining workflows, making it significantly easier for developers to create, innovate, and bring their ideas to life on our platform.

We are looking for individuals with a genuine passion for building and onboarding developer-centric tools and infrastructure. If you thrive in an environment where your work directly impacts the developer community and enjoy the challenge of crafting tools that developers love to use, then you are the ideal candidate for our team.

Initially a 3-month contract with an option for full-time employment afterwards.

What you’ll do

  • Spearhead the creation and onboarding of cutting-edge tools designed to empower developers..

  • Play a pivotal role in integrating various tools into a cohesive and streamlined toolchain, aligning with the team's vision to support a seamless developer experience.

  • Take charge of maintaining and enhancing existing tools, emphasizing reliability, performance, and user-friendly features, thereby contributing to a robust development ecosystem.

  • Work collaboratively, sharing knowledge and insights, and actively contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous learning, driving the team towards achieving its strategic goals

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related experience.

  • Experience building apps on the EVM stack (e.g. Hardhat, ethers.js, Thirdweb, Blockscout, The Graph, Pyth…)

  • Proficiency in the following programming languages: Solidity, TypeScript and/or Javascript.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of working collaboratively in a team setting.

  • Familiarity with best practices in software engineering, including version control, code review, and continuous integration.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry developments.

  • Exceptional creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex operational challenges.
