The Role:

The Business Development Manager (Gaming – India) will be responsible for the growth of gaming in India.

The Business Development function serves to accelerate the adoption of Tezos and foster strategic partnerships and integration opportunities. TriliTech has achieved several large, high-profile partnerships for the Tezos blockchain project, such as Manchester United and Ubisoft, along with several high-potential ambitious startups, such as Dogami and Tezotopia.

The Business Development Manager (Gaming – India) will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, closing, and executing gaming-related strategic investment and partnerships in India

Main Activities:

  • Sourcing – Identify high value partnership opportunities in the region (inbound and outbound), targeting AAA developers/publishers and ambitious startups
  • Evaluating – Work with the Global Head of Gaming to adapt investment evaluation framework to local context, and apply it flexibly to highlight high value partners. Build financial and business models, and prepare investment recommendations highlighting opportunities and risks
  • Negotiating – Negotiate with potential partners on deal terms to find a positive way forward for all stakeholders
  • Executing – Take ownership of the project, working closely with partners and Tezos engineering, product, and marketing teams to ensure the partnership is successful
  • Travel, as necessary, to both regional and global regions, as a representative of the Tezos ecosystem

Essential Requirements:

TriliTech are therefore looking for someone with:

  • A true passion for gaming and a thorough understanding of the industry
  • A minimum of 2 years working experience in gaming and/or blockchain industry in business-related roles (e.g., business development, strategy, operations, publishing/marketing) fields. Successful track record of end-to-end deals and/or projects
  • Passionate self-starter with high level of initiative, ownership, and urgency, with a sincere willingness to learn
  • Team player with outstanding written and oral communication skills. Comfortable with collaborating across different functional teams and departments, while remaining razor-focused on the project goals
  • Proficient in spoken and written English, ideally proficient in Indian languages/dialects (e.g., Hindi, Tamil, etc.)
