About Acurast
Acurast's vision is to offer a serverless decentralized cloud. We believe that, given the current geopolitical landscape, relying on a monopoly of US-based tech giants won't be sustainable long-term. Disrupting the already well-established companies in this space will only be possible by changing the rules of the game.
For this reason, instead of using legacy, servers as the foundation of our cloud, Acurast utilizes the perfect fit for decentralized compute: mobile devices. While many may find this counterintuitive, these devices are a perfect fit. They are objectively more secure, more resilient, more efficient, and more powerful enough while having a drastically lower acquisition and running cost. Creating the perfect disruptor for a cloud where everyone can participate In providing compute, offering developers a more affordable alternative to the legacy cloud that even offers complete confidentiality.
