🔑 Who we’re looking for

We need a heavyweight System Architect who moves beyond standard development and thinks in terms of AI-native infrastructure. This role involves leading a small two-person team and reporting directly to the Director of Engineering.

Ideal candidate:

• Senior Architect Mindset: Ability to design complex systems and handle architectural decisions, not just implement features.

• AI-Native Expertise: Practical experience in AI agent orchestration, creating agent skills/tooling, and memory management within the modern AI stack.

• Backend Core: Strong Java and PostgreSQL.

• Security & Infrastructure: Familiarity with security tooling (Cloudflare and similar) is essential as you'll manage your own environment setup.

• Language: Strong spoken English is a must.

• Nice-to-have: Rust experience and previous experience managing small engineering teams.

• Timezone: Ability to provide at least 4 hours of overlap with New York (EST). Eastern Europe is a perfect fit.
