Junior / Trainee DevOps Engineer
About the Project
We are looking for a motivated Junior / Trainee DevOps Engineer to join our global operations team supporting and developing infrastructure for a large international company.
This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with modern cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, CI/CD processes, and production support while working alongside experienced DevOps engineers in a global environment.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain cloud infrastructure and business-critical applications.
- Assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving infrastructure and application issues.
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
- Support automation initiatives to reduce manual operational work.
- Assist with infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to improve deployment and release processes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, deployment activities, and production support.
- Contribute to documentation of infrastructure, procedures, and operational processes.
- Learn and apply DevOps best practices in daily activities.
- Help identify recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Must Have
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or final-year student).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Cloud.
- Basic knowledge of Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of DevOps concepts and CI/CD principles.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate English level (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS services.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
- Knowledge of Ansible or other automation tools.
- Personal, educational, or internship projects related to DevOps, Cloud, or System Administration.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or other cloud certifications.
