About CGS-Team
We're a dual-track company.
1)
On the product side, we own and run two SaaS products of our own.
Our flagship is a SaaS — launching in the Oceania trades market
in 2026, expanding to the US in 2027.
2)
On the service side, we run a 65-engineer software development
agency based in Cyprus and Canada, building custom SaaS for clients in
blockchain, AI, mobile and web.
We sell the full stack:
development plus AEO/SEO marketing post-launch, so the products
we build go live with traffic, not into the void.
This is why the role matters. You're not bolted onto a project at
the end — you're part of the launch strategy from day one,
working across our own products and our clients' products
in parallel.
About the role:
We're hiring one senior specialist to own SEO and AEO across the
portfolio.
This is not "execute a roadmap someone else wrote." You set the
strategy, write the briefs, work with our designers and developers
to ship, and own the results.
If your idea of AEO is "add some FAQ schema and hope for the
best", this isn't the role. If you've read the Princeton GEO
paper, have a view on whether llms.txt is signal or noise, and
know what changed about FAQPage rich results in 2023 — keep
reading.
What you'll own
— SEO + AEO strategy for each project: technical, content,
off-page, and AI citation work
— Programmatic SEO architecture where it earns its place,
and pushback when it doesn't
— Schema markup design (JSON-LD per page type), robots.txt
and AI crawler configuration (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot,
Google-Extended, Applebot-Extended), llms.txt implementation
— Content briefs for our writers and AI-assisted drafting
workflows (Sanity + MCP integration)
— Earned mention strategy: Capterra, G2, Reddit, industry
publications, podcast placement where it makes sense
— Citation tracking and measurement (Profound, Otterly,
AthenaHQ, or equivalents)
— Working with our design and dev teams: you write the spec,
they ship it
What we expect you to know already
— At least one concrete case where you took a page or property
from zero AI-engine citations to consistent citations within
6 months, and can explain how
— JSON-LD schema fluency across Article, FAQPage, Product,
Review, BreadcrumbList, Organization, HowTo
— Why SSR vs SSG vs CSR matters for AI crawlers, and how to
audit a site for this
— E-E-A-T as actual signals, not a buzzword — what moves
the needle for new domains in the first 6 months
— Backlink quality assessment without relying only on paid
tool scores
— Comfortable translating a technical SEO audit into developer
tickets that engineers actually want to work on
Nice to have
— Direct experience optimizing for AU and US English markets
— Worked with Astro, Next.js, or other SSR-capable stacks
— Experience with Sanity, Contentful, or similar headless CMS
— Programmatic SEO experience including post-HCU navigation
— Background in B2B SaaS marketing
— Ukrainian or Russian for internal team communication
(nice to have, not required)
What you get
— Full-time remote, flexible hours
— Direct reporting to the CEO, no marketing-manager intermediary
— Tool budget covered: Ahrefs or Semrush, citation trackers,
whatever you need
— Real ownership across 4–5 projects, not project management
theatre
— Growth path: as the portfolio expands, lead a small team
within 12 months
How to apply
Generic "I'm interested in this position" cover letters will
not be reviewed. In your cover letter, please answer one of
these:
1. Walk us through one AEO or GEO win you personally owned in
the last 12 months. Specific page, specific query type,
specific measurable outcome.
2. Take a position on llms.txt: is it worth implementing today,
or is it noise until adoption catches up? Defend your answer.
We read every cover letter that engages with one of these
questions.
