The founder & CEO is currently deeply involved in day-to-day operations โ including team coordination, process management, reporting, and execution control. While this hands-on approach has been important for the companyโs growth so far, it is becoming less efficient at this stage.
This role is designed to take ownership of the operational side of the business: ensuring clarity, accountability, and consistent execution across the team, while enabling the founder & CEO to focus on strategic priorities such as brand development, product expansion, and long-term growth.

Requirements
๐น 3+ years managing operations for an Amazon FBA brand ($2M+ annual revenue)
๐น Managed at least 3 remote team members directly
๐น Advanced daily user of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) โ with demonstrable examples
๐น English fluency โ this is a writing-heavy role; communication must be crystal clear
๐น Available during core hours: 9 AMโ2 PM AST (UTC-4)
๐น Built SOPs and operational systems from scratch
๐น Proficient in Amazon Seller Central: inventory, IPI score, stranded inventory, FBA shipments
๐น Proficient in Asana (or equivalent) and Excel/Google Sheets
โ ๏ธ This role includes a 90-day probationary period with performance evaluations at 30, 60, and 90 days.
Responsibilities
๐ฅ Team Management
๐ธ Directly manage inventory/ops lead, graphic designer, and PPC team
๐ธ Run daily async standups, weekly team meetings, and weekly 1-on-1s
๐ธ Build KPI frameworks for every role; hold people accountable
๐ธ Handle all performance issues โ late deliverables, unclear work, sub-standard output
๐ฆ Inventory & Supply Chain
๐ธ Review and approve all reorder recommendations before POs go to suppliers
๐ธ Verify sales velocity, lead times, safety stock, and FBA receiving timelines
๐ธ Own the shipment pipeline: supplier โ freight โ FBA inbound โ 3PL coordination
๐ธ Monitor sell-through rates, days of supply, and proactively flag stockout risks
๐ธ Run a weekly inventory review covering stock levels, inbound status, and flags
๐ PPC Oversight
๐ธ Run weekly PPC check-ins; collect reports, format data, flag anomalies
๐ธ Own the operational rhythm around PPC โ not the strategy itself
๐ Reporting
๐ธ Deliver a weekly ops report: team performance, project status, inventory flags, vendor updates, financial summary, blockers
๐ธ Goal: founder goes from checking 6 platforms daily to reading one report and having one 30-minute call per week
๐๏ธ Project Management
๐ธ Own the entire Asana workspace: task creation, assignment, due dates, follow-up
๐ธ Build templates for recurring workflows; maintain one clean dashboard
๐ธ Nothing falls through the cracks โ period
๐ SOPs & Systems
๐ธ Document all core workflows: supply chain, product launch, listing updates, shipments
๐ธ Build a company knowledge base so nothing lives only in someone's head
๐ธ If you're writing SOPs manually without AI assistance, you're already behind
๐ฐ Financial Operations
๐ธ Final sign-off on all supplier invoices before payment
๐ธ Manage software subscriptions, service providers, and recurring payments
๐ธ Track payment schedules, flag unused tools, deliver a weekly financial summary
๐ค Vendors & Contractors
๐ธ Serve as primary point of contact for all external consultants and contractors
๐ธ Follow up aggressively on timelines; flag delays with options, not just problems
๐ Hiring & Onboarding
๐ธ Lead the hiring process for new roles
๐ธ Build 30/60/90-day onboarding plans for new team members
