We are looking for an experienced Hardware Engineer / PCB Designer who will be responsible for the full lifecycle of IoT hardware development — from concept and schematic design to PCB layout and testing. This role combines a deep understanding of electronics with strong PCB design skills to create reliable and optimized solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Schematic Design: Develop electrical schematics for IoT devices.
  • PCB Design: Design printed circuit boards (from 2-layer to multilayer, including high-speed and RF boards).
  • Component Selection: Choose electronic components considering availability, cost, and project requirements.
  • Power Design: Optimize power consumption, work with battery-powered solutions, and implement low-power modes.
  • MCU Integration: Integrate microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, Nordic, NXP, TI, etc.) and other components.
  • Prototyping: Assemble and test initial board prototypes, debug schematics.
  • Testing & Debugging: Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other tools to validate device performance.
  • PCB Manufacturing Support: Prepare production files (Gerber, BOM, Pick & Place), ensure quality control, and communicate with PCB manufacturers.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for manufacturing and product lifecycle support.

Requirements:

  • Experience in schematic design and development of digital and analog circuits.
  • Strong proficiency with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, or Eagle.
  • Understanding of high-speed signal design, EMI/EMC considerations, and shielding techniques.
  • Experience with wireless technologies: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa, Zigbee, NB-IoT, 4G/5G, RFID, UWB.
  • Experience integrating sensors (temperature, humidity, vibration, acceleration, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of embedded programming (C/C++ for microcontrollers is a plus).
  • Experience with low-voltage power systems (DC-DC, LDOs, batteries, power-saving techniques).
  • Hands-on debugging skills using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with simulation tools such as LTspice, PSpice, MATLAB, or similar.
  • Familiarity with IoT device certification requirements across different regions (EU, USA, China).
  • Experience with MEMS and sensor technologies.
  • Understanding of compliance and certification standards.
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes, including file preparation and factory collaboration.

    Our Benefits:
    • Professional growth: Individual development plan, mentorship, reimbursement for professional certifications and English lessons, access to professional courses in Corporate Learning Management System.
    • Community: Tech community and knowledge-sharing events, English speaking club, corporate library and book club, volunteering and charity initiatives.
    • Wellbeing: Medical insurance, regular medical check-ups, sport reimbursement, paid vacation and sick leave, mental health support, and events.
    • Work environment: Fully-equipped offices, top-notch equipment, flexible work format, activities both in-office and online, Y-bucks, and access to the Yalantis store.
