OneTablet helps restaurants sell more across DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub and others — we optimize platform algorithms, enhance menus with AI, and expand sales surface so restaurants make more money, measurably, in dollars. We're a small senior team shipping fast with real customers. We're looking for a senior QA engineer who owns quality as a domain — someone who's built QA processes from the ground up and can lead this function with full autonomy.

What you'll do

• Define and evolve QA strategy — processes, tooling, automation, priorities
• Own end-to-end quality across the product with a risk-based mindset
• Build automation focused on revenue-critical flows, regressions, and third-party integrations
• Work directly with engineers to improve testability and reliability at the architecture level
• Use AI deeply in QA workflows — not just writing tests, but triaging, exploring, and finding blind spots faster
• Make quality decisions: what to test, how, and why — no process for its own sake

What we expect

• Senior QA with experience establishing QA processes and leading the function — not just executing within an existing setup
• Hands-on automation: JavaScript / TypeScript, Playwright or Cypress, API testing (REST, webhooks, async flows)
• SQL fluency — you validate data and business logic against real production behavior
• Risk-based thinking — you know what matters most and build around that
• AI is part of how you work daily (not theoretically)
• Startup / product background — comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration

Nice to have

• Experience testing backend systems and third-party integrations at scale
• Contract testing or integration-heavy product experience
• CI/CD pipeline design for test automation
• GCP, PostgreSQL
