We are a software development company focused on delivering high-quality solutions for international clients. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Middle Lead Generation Specialist (Upwork) to help us strengthen our client acquisition process.


This role is all about building and scaling a predictable flow of high-quality leads through Upwork. You won’t just execute tasks - you’ll own the channel, experiment, optimize, and turn it into a consistent source of revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Search and analyze relevant projects on Upwork daily
  • Write highly personalized proposals that convert into replies
  • Manage multiple Upwork profiles (scaling, updating, maintaining)
  • Respond quickly to clients and handle initial communication
  • Qualify leads before passing them to the sales team
  • Manage and track pipeline in CRM (Pipedrive)
  • Continuously test and improve messaging, positioning, and approach
  • Track key metrics: reply rate, conversion rate, booked calls
  • Follow Upwork rules and best practices

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Upwork lead generation (IT outsourcing/outstaffing)
  • Strong understanding of Upwork algorithms, rules, and limitations
  • Experience working with multiple profiles simultaneously
  • Experience with automation tools (GigRadar, Getman, or similar)
  • Experience working with CRM systems (preferably Pipedrive)
  • Ability to handle high volume without losing personalization quality
  • Strong written English (B2+)
  • High level of self-organization and ownership
  • Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement

Nice to have

  • Understanding of IT services sales and niche best practices
  • Interest in growing into Sales / SDR / Business Development
  • Experience with LinkedIn or other lead generation channels
