ABOUT THE COMPANY
Meta-ads-obsessed e-commerce agency managing $1.5M+ in monthly ad spend for ambitious Shopify brands. We work with a focused roster of clients — no spreading thin, no endless context-switching. Just deep, high-quality creative work that scales brands from 6 to 8 figures.
We're creative-first and performance-driven. Strategy and copy drive everything here.
THE ROLE
This isn't a copywriter seat. It's a Senior Creative Strategist position where exceptional copywriting is your primary weapon.
You'll own the creative strategy end-to-end — research, angles, copy, briefs. Your work goes straight into live ads. No committee sign-offs. No death by revision. Direct access to leadership when strategy matters most.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
— Research products, customer avatars, and competitive landscapes to uncover breakthrough angles
— Write direct-response copy that stops thumbs and drives conversions
— Build 18-20 fully-developed ad briefs per week (hooks, angles, scripts, visual direction)
— Translate insights into high-converting concepts aligned with proven frameworks
— Review creative outputs and give structured, actionable feedback to editors and UGC creators
— Maintain organized creative assets in ClickUp and document revisions across the pipeline
— Support CRO and UGC leads with strategic copy and ideation
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
— 5-7+ years in e-commerce creative strategy, copywriting, or performance advertising
— Proven track record writing direct-response copy for Meta (and ideally TikTok) ads
— Deep understanding of DTC customer psychology and what actually drives conversions
— Experience creating comprehensive ad briefs for video editors and UGC creators
— Portfolio that shows strategic thinking + scroll-stopping copy
— Comfortable using AI writing tools to enhance (not replace) your thinking
— ClickUp or similar PM tools — second nature to you
MINDSET WE HIRE FOR
— Performance-driven: you measure success by metrics, not compliments
— Speed-oriented: you know velocity matters in creative testing
— Initiative-driven: you solve problems before being asked
— Growth-minded: you study winning ads constantly and refine your craft
— Excellence-focused: mediocre work isn't an option here
