Our small, dedicated team has a strong history of working together to create tools that help students research, write, and learn more effectively using cutting-edge AI technology.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Data Analyst who will help us deeply understand how users interact with the product, identify growth opportunities, and turn data into actionable product decisions.

This is a high-impact role where you'll work directly with the founder, and your analytics will directly influence product development and growth strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze product and business data to identify user behavior patterns, growth opportunities, and product improvement areas
  • Design and maintain event tracking and event maps to ensure high-quality product analytics
  • Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to analyze large datasets
  • Translate complex data into clear insights, dashboards, and recommendations for stakeholders
  • Partner with product and marketing to support data-driven decision making

Requirements:

Critical:

  • 3+ years’ experience as Data Analyst or similar analytics role
  • Advances SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
  • Experience with data analysis and data quality assessment
  • Experience working with BigQuery
  • Experience designing event tracking / event maps for product analytics
  • Confident written and spoken English (B2 level or higher).

Highly preferred:

  • Experience with dbt, including incremental modeling
  • Experience with PostHog or similar product analytics tools
  • Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests
  • Experience with product, marketing, or growth analytics for subscription-based products

Will be a plus:

  • Experience working with Stripe data sources
  • Experience with Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of Python
  • Knowledge of R
