We are seeking a skilled macOS/iOS Developer to build a specialised automation system that connects Apple Mail with DEVONthink. The goal is to automatically organise specific incoming emails inside DEVONthink to streamline workflow and improve productivity. Only candidates with strong, proven DEVONthink experience should be submitted.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and configure automation workflows between Apple Mail and DEVONthink.

Use AppleScript or JavaScript for Automation (JXA) to process, tag, and organise data.

Ensure stable, error-resistant automation with proper performance and reliability.

Collaborate with the client to refine rules, triggers, and logic.

Test and optimise the complete automation workflow for long-term use.

Requirements

Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience with DEVONthink automation - MUST.

Proven experience with macOS automation (AppleScript / JXA).

Solid understanding of Apple Mail automation workflows or APIs.

Experience working with JavaScript and macOS development tools.

Ability to deliver clean, stable, and well-structured automation logic quickly.

Good communication skills and ability to work independently.

Nice to Have

Experience with Shortcuts, Automator, Hazel, or other macOS automation tools.

Knowledge of email parsing, rule-based filtering, or productivity integrations.

Familiarity with other macOS productivity ecosystems
