We are looking for an experienced and motivated SDET willing to develop his career within our fin-tech engineering team. You will have the opportunity to own key aspects of our testing efforts, grow hands-on professional skills, participate to establishing best practices and experiment with new ideas to deliver the highest quality product to our users.

This is a great opportunity to join a high-performing team at an early stage company in the heart of San Francisco.

The role is fulltime for a 6-month project.
Notice period: up to 2 weeks.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain automation frameworks
  • Design and automate test cases
  • Participate in QA and development Squads’ meetings on a daily basis
  • Regression: release scope verification which included tasks, test cases
  • Bug reporting
  • Communication with project stakeholders on any level

    Skills Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, Software Engineering, or highly similar course of study is preferred, but work experience considered in lieu of degree
  • 2-3 years of experience as Software engineer in Test or Test Automation Engineer
  • Selenium or Selenide must have
  • Experience using Git, CircleCI and/or Jenkins
  • Passion for software quality and automation, and drive to be successful in a high growth, fast paced environment
  • Active upper-intermediate level of English or higher

Nice-to-have:

  • Jira and TestRail knowledge
  • SQL knowledge
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies desired

Soft-skills:

  • Attentive to details fast learner, reliable, deadline and results-oriented
  • Ability to analyze problems in situations where the symptoms are not of a standard or familiar nature, therefore requiring independent thought and logical troubleshooting methods
  • High level of self-motivation and self-discipline
  • Thrive on collaboration - Engineering team works closely with Product Management, Design and Operations for everything from roll-out to feature enhancement
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Real passion for software quality, and drive to be successful in a fast-growing, dynamic environment
