Retail Marketing Analyst

Role Purpose

Full end-to-end management of Nielsen, PraData and Marion data: collection, unification, alignment, automation, analysis, visualization and insight generation to support strategic decision-making across categories and channels.

Driving modern analytical approaches, including the adoption of AI tools and process automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management & Platform Alignment

  • Develop and maintain unified data mapping across Nielsen, PraData and Marion.
  • Ensure data accuracy, perform regular discrepancy audits and resolve inconsistencies.
  • Build consistent data structures and support data governance processes.

Reporting & Automation

  • Develop and maintain reporting structures to track key KPIs.
  • Deliver regular consolidated reports from all three data sources, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Optimize and automate data processing and reporting flows.
  • Create unified dashboards and reporting templates (Excel, Power BI and other tools).

Analytics & Insights

  • Analyze market share, sales performance, trends and growth/decline drivers.
  • Prepare analytical summaries, recommendations and concise highlights for management.
  • Evaluate promo efficiency and identify growth opportunities and risks.

Data Visualization & Presentation

  • Prepare charts, dashboards, diagrams and infographics.
  • Structure insights and deliver clear, actionable conclusions.
  • Create presentations, executive summaries and supporting documents for leadership.

Skills & Competencies:

Technical & Automation Skills

  • Advanced Excel (arrays, modeling, Power Query, Power Pivot).
  • Power BI (data modeling, DAX, interactive dashboards).
  • Google Sheets (formulas, data import, basic automation).
  • Tableau / Data Studio - a plus.
  • Basic Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL - advantage for automation and data cleaning.
  • Experience working with CRM/ERP systems (SAP, 1C, Dynamics - desirable).
  • Strong ability to structure, consolidate and analyze large data sets.
  • Ability to build complex analytical reports and automated templates/modules.

AI-driven & Digital Skills

  • Use of ChatGPT / Copilot for automating routine tasks, QA data checks, generating insights, writing formulas/code and structuring reports.
  • Ability to integrate AI tools into daily workflows to increase speed, accuracy and efficiency.
  • Openness to new technologies and modern analytical approaches.

Analytical Thinking & Interpretation

  • Strong system thinking and ability to navigate complex data structures.
  • Hypothesis building, root-cause analysis and driver identification.
  • Ability to translate data into clear, actionable business insights.

Organizational & Communication Skills

  • Prioritization, structured approach and effective time-management.

  • Clear, structured verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to present data effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Higher Education.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in analytics, trade marketing, category management or FMCG.
  • English - at least intermediate level.
