Social Media Marketer
Madfish
We are a B2B Cybersecurity SaaS company seeking a Social Media Marketer to help expand our brand awareness on LinkedIn by distributing posts via our thought leader network.
This role blends strategy with hands-on execution and requires a balance of creativity, analytical thinking, and operational excellence.
How To Apply:
Send your CV along with a cover letter. In the letter, share one example of how you helped increase brand awareness or visibility for a company or product.
Responsibilities:
- Own social media goals — strategize, track, analyze, and report on impressions, likes, follows, and other metrics to the Marketing Director.
- Create a content plan every week — strategize post categories and experiment with them every week, and continuously research trending topics
- Own the full distribution cycle — schedule, write, design / edit clips, and publish posts independently
- Manage paid campaigns — boost the most performing posts with direct budget
-
Collaborate with other marketers — request input from marketers and our thought leaders, review other content plans to stay aligned with the weekly marketing agenda
Hard Skill Requirements:
- 2+ years of marketing experience (preferably in B2B, tech, or cybersecurity sectors).
- Proven ability to own social media content for personal or company profiles.
- Experience in any of the following areas will make you a stronger candidate:
- Brand or performance marketing
- PPC advertising (LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok)
- Podcast production
- Simple image editing (canva, figma)
- Simple video clip editing
- Startup or fast-paced environment with frequent pivots
- Upper Intermediate English
Soft Skill Requirements:
- Proactive mindset — you don’t wait for tasks; you identify opportunities and suggest actions that help reach brand awareness goals.
- Independent work style — you aim to solve challenges on your own first and reach out to the team lead only after spending up to two focused hours on the task.
- Positive communication — you assume positive intent in every message and make sure your own feedback reflects the same.
- Constructive conflict handling — you can back your opinions with clear arguments and are equally open to changing your stance when presented with better reasoning.

Flexible communication — comfortable using any format (written messages, Looms, or video calls). For calls, you check and book available calendar slots first.
