In a partnership with one of global consulting companies, we are seeking an experienced AEM UI Developer to design, build, and optimize modern, responsive, and accessible user interfaces across SAP’s digital ecosystem. The ideal candidate will combine strong front-end development skills with a solid understanding of data engineering concepts, system integrations, and enterprise-grade application development. SAP’s Digital Platform powers the company’s most prominent global web properties, including sap.com, support.sap.com, partner.sap.com, developer.sap.com, news.sap.com, and search.sap.com. These platforms deliver scalable, personalized, and high-performing digital experiences aligned with SAP’s strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and configure web applications and UI components within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Develop reusable and responsive UI components following best practices and design guidelines.
• Ensure all digital experiences meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and performance benchmarks.
• Conduct performance profiling using tools such as Chrome DevTools to ensure fast, optimized experiences.
• Implement unit testing to ensure reliability, maintainability, and functionality coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, data engineers, and backend developers, to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
• Validate APIs and system integrations to ensure data consistency and reliability across platforms.
• Write clear, maintainable technical documentation and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint refinements, and design discussions to ensure alignment and quality delivery.
• Apply knowledge of Databricks, Datasphere, and data science concepts to enhance digital platform functionality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) UI development –
• Strong front-end development skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
• Experience implementing responsive design and building reusable UI components.
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts, Databricks, and SAP Datasphere.
• Knowledge of system integration patterns and API-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks and performance optimization tools.
• Understanding of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with enterprise-scale web platforms or multi-site architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployment.
• Knowledge of SAP ecosystem, data models, or integration frameworks is a plus.
