Role Summary: The COO will be a key member of PhishFort’s executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the seamless execution of the company’s vision. This role requires deep domain knowledge in cybersecurity and brand protection, proven experience in technology-driven environments, and a track record of successfully coordinating cross-functional projects. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented executor with exceptional project management skills, capable of aligning teams, meeting deadlines, and delivering measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
● Operational Leadership: Oversee and optimize day-to-day operations across departments, including engineering, product development, sales, marketing, and customer success, to ensure alignment with PhishFort’s strategic goals.
● Execution of CEO’s Vision: Partner closely with the CEO to translate strategic vision into actionable plans, ensuring company-wide alignment and execution.
● Cross-Functional Project Management: Lead and coordinate complex, cross-departmental projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.
● Tech or Cybersecurity & Brand Protection Expertise: Leverage deep domain knowledge to guide operational strategies, product delivery, and client solutions in the cybersecurity and brand protection space.
● Process Optimization: Develop and implement scalable processes, systems, and KPIs to enhance operational efficiency, drive growth, and ensure client satisfaction.
● Team Leadership & Development: Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation by mentoring and managing senior leaders and their teams.
● Deadline & Performance Management: Establish and enforce project timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics to maintain PhishFort’s reputation for reliability and excellence.
● Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors, to support business objectives and drive strategic partnerships.
● Risk Management: Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, cybersecurity, or a related field
● 3+ years of experience in operational leadership roles within technology or cybersecurity companies.
● Proven track record of managing and delivering complex, cross-functional projects in fast-paced environments.
● Deep understanding of the cybersecurity and/or brand protection industry, including phishing prevention, threat intelligence, or digital fraud mitigation.
