About the Client & Project

Our client is an Israeli healthcare technology company building a platform from scratch based on advanced image-processing algorithms for X-ray analysis. The solution aims to enable clinicians with real-time insights to avoid intra-operative complications. The platform will integrate into hospital IT environments and requires secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure.

Role Overview

We are seeking a DevOps / IT Administrator with strong AWS expertise and Microsoft ecosystem experience. This is a greenfield project, so you will establish all infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring, and security practices from zero, ensuring smooth deployment of Windows-based applications into clinical settings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working as DevOps engineer – must
  • Proven hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch) – must
  • Strong background in DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS), and infrastructure as code Terraformmust
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines from ground-up on Bitbucket pipelines or GitHub actions – must
  • Experience managing artifactory tools, like Nexus
  • Experience supporting AI/ML environments: provisioning GPU instances, managing training environments, integrating CI/CD for model training and deployment – big advantage
  • Solid knowledge of web application environments: setting up staging and production systems, load balancing, monitoring, and logging
  • Background in IT administration: domain management, corporate email systems, workstation setup (Windows/Mac), VPN and network configuration – must
  • Good understanding of IT security practices: endpoint protection, patch management, access control, encryption, audit logging
  • Experience managing corporate tools (Microsoft 365, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
  • Ability to write and maintain documentation for infrastructure, IT policies, and processes
  • High level of English, both spoken and written – must

Would be a Plus

  • Certification(s): AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, or FDA compliance in cloud and IT operations
  • Experience with medical imaging standards (DICOM, HL7, FHIR) or PHI-related systems
  • Hands-on experience with GPU clusters for deep learning and high-performance computing
  • Exposure to security frameworks: SOC2, ISO 27001, or NIST
