Appecode is looking for a Middle DevOps Engineer to launch a new project from scratch on Google Cloud Platform. This is a dynamic short-term contract (1–1.5 months) with a focus on infrastructure setup and post-launch support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy cloud infrastructure in GCP from the ground up.
• Set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
• Manage containerization and orchestration of services.
• Implement comprehensive logging and monitoring systems.

• Provide post-launch infrastructure support (troubleshooting and incident response if issues arise).

Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Cloud: Professional expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, IAM, and Networking.
• IaC: Hands-on experience with Terraform (preferred) or other CloudFormation tools.
• CI/CD: Proven experience setting up pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Containers: Strong proficiency with Docker and experience with Kubernetes (GKE).
• Monitoring: Experience with Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar stacks.

• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher. Must be able to communicate effectively with the team and discuss technical solutions fluently.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Serverless architecture and Cloud Functions.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python).
• Knowledge of Cloud Security best practices.
