QA Madness is a European IT service company focusing strongly on QA and cybersecurity. The company was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Poland.

Currently, we are searching for an experienced Automation QA Lead (Python) to become a great addition to our team.

Our client provides API infrastructure for the travel industry. It’s a platform that enables access to hotel inventory in real time.


Responsibilities:
Define and lead the QA strategy across our API platform and partner integrations;

Design and implement automated test frameworks (API, regression, load testing, etc.);

Own and execute test plans, cases, and documentation for product releases and deployments;

Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and DevOps to embed quality into every stage of development;

Monitor, report, and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues;

Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated test coverage (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins);

Act as an IC in the short term, but contribute to the growth of the QA function and build a team over time;

Drive a quality-first culture across teams and processes.

Hard Skills:
5+ years of experience in QA or test engineering, with a strong hands-on mindset;

Proven experience in automated testing of APIs and backend systems;

Familiarity with tools like Postman, Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured, etc;

Proficiency in test scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, etc.);

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows;

Solid understanding of agile development, SDLC, and QA best practices;

Excellent communication and collaboration skills;

At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English (effective written and verbal communication).

Will be a plus:
Familiarity with travel tech, B2B platforms, or real-time integrations.
