About Us

We help small and medium-sized ISPs, Telcos, and other businesses around the world keep pace with larger Tier 1 operators and global OTT/IPTV players.

As a family-owned company, we maintain close, long-term relationships with our customers — many of whom are also independent, family-run businesses.

We believe that small businesses should have access to the same advanced technologies used by the biggest operators, so that people everywhere, no matter how remote, can enjoy the same quality of experience. We deliver these technologies through our backend platform and applications across iOS, Android, Tizen, WebOS, Web, and Roku.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst (with a fast-track to Product Owner) to join our Product team and help shape the future of our IPTV / OTT platform used by telecom operators, hotels, and service providers worldwide.

This is a hands-on and self-driven role. You will be expected to lead the discovery phase for your area: talk to stakeholders, explore data, understand how things work end-to-end, and turn all of that into clear product decisions and requirements. Over time, we expect this role to take over a significant part of Product Ownership for one or more domains.

You will work closely with the Product Manager, development, DevOps, and QA teams, but you will be able to move forward independently and unblock yourself whenever possible.

What You Will Do

  • Own the discovery phase for features and initiatives: clarify the problem, explore options, and propose solutions.
  • Work directly with customers and internal stakeholders to collect, challenge, and refine requirements.
  • Analyze API payloads, XML, JSON, and text logs to understand current behavior, edge cases, and issues.
  • Use light scripting and tools to clean, transform, and analyze input data when needed.
  • Spin up and verify simple environments using Docker (and optionally Kubernetes using a GUI) to explore features or validate assumptions.
  • Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain a clear, prioritized backlog together with the Product Manager and gradually take ownership of product decisions in your domain.
  • Support the team during development and testing, answering questions and adjusting requirements as needed.
  • Use AI tools daily to improve quality and, in some cases, speed up research, analysis, and documentation while retaining ownership of the outcomes.

You Are Our Ideal Candidate If You Have

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in product or software companies.
  • Strong understanding of the product and project life cycle and experience managing requirements through all stages.
  • Proven ability to analyze and document requirements, write technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Practical experience working on global projects and collaborating directly with clients.
  • A deep understanding of product functionality from both business and technical perspectives.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Upper intermediate English level or higher.
  • A self-sufficient working style: you are comfortable driving discovery, asking questions, digging into systems, and proposing solutions instead of waiting for detailed input.

Technical Skills We Expect

  • Ability to read and analyze JSON, XML, and text logs (for example, from APIs, microservices, and integrations).
  • Ability to make and understand basic API calls using tools such as Postman or similar.
  • Comfort with fundamental data analysis, for example:
    • Filtering and searching in large log files.
    • Simple data checks and comparisons using spreadsheets or scripts.
  • Ability to write small, practical scripts in bash, JavaScript, or Python (for example, to parse logs, clean data, or validate assumptions).
  • Hands-on experience with Docker:
    • Running and troubleshooting local services using Docker or docker compose.
    • Understanding how services communicate in a containerized setup.
  • Experience with Kubernetes or a strong interest in learning it is a plus.
  • Confident user of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) for:
    • Drafting and refining documentation.
    • Exploring solution options.
    • Challenging research results, User Stories, Acceptance criteria, and data exploration.
    • Quick assessment using the internal knowledge base as context.
    • Make bash/python scripts to analyze data (precise)

It Will Be a Significant Plus If You Have

  • Experience creating user interface sketches or wireframes.
  • Experience with Android TV, Apple TV, or Smart TV ecosystems.
  • Understanding of APIs, integration flows, and backend systems for content and subscriber management.
  • Prior experience working with a white label product setup.
  • Experience working in a B2B or telecom / media environment.

We Offer

  • 24 vacation days plus 12 flexible personal days annually.
  • Paid sick leave and fully covered English classes.
  • Annual professional development budget for courses, conferences, or certifications.
  • Modern office in Odesa, equipped with secure power, connectivity, and a shelter.
  • A friendly product culture where your voice shapes the roadmap and processes.
