About the Project

We are starting a long-term collaboration with a client on a full-time front-end role.

This is a legacy project with a large existing codebase written without modern frameworks - no React, no Next.js.

The front-end is based on HTML, CSS (possibly SASS), and vanilla JavaScript.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Working with an existing legacy codebase.
• Implementing new features and maintaining existing ones.
• Ensuring pixel-perfect implementation according to provided designs.
• Optimizing and refactoring existing front-end code when necessary.
• Collaborating with other developers through Git-based workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience working with legacy codebases and ability to navigate complex structures.
• Proficiency with Git: branching, merging, resolving conflicts, and contributing via pull requests.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver pixel-perfect layouts.
• Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
• Upper-intermediate English or Ukrainian for communication with the team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SASS/SCSS.
• Basic knowledge of build tools (Webpack, Gulp, etc.).
• Understanding of UI/UX best practices.
