About the Projects
You will be working across several long-term eCommerce web initiatives, focusing exclusively on manual testing of websites and web applications.
The role includes close collaboration not only with multiple projects but also with multiple development teams across the client’s organization.
Multi-store & Standard eCommerce Websites
- Continuous participation in multiple eCommerce projects (including multi-store environments) in collaboration with several cross-functional development teams. Work includes:
- Daily stand-ups and regular syncs with development teams
- Testing tasks throughout the entire product lifecycle — from new feature development to ongoing maintenance of live websites
- Occasional involvement in related web projects at various stages, supporting early development, enhancements, and scaling of existing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Final validation of completed tasks before client approval or production release — identifying defects, conducting regression checks, and coordinating fixes across different teams.
- Regular smoke and regression testing of production environments after frequent releases (several times per week), ensuring functional accuracy and system stability.
- Creation and maintenance of QA documentation, such as bug reports, checklists, and concise internal guides.
- Participation in daily meetings with multiple development teams, ensuring alignment, sharing progress, and clarifying priorities.
Requirements
- Middle+ experience level in manual QA (from 4-5 years)
- Strong and proven experience with Magento and Shopify (crucial requirement)
- Deep understanding of key eCommerce flows: catalog browsing, checkout, payments, user accounts, promotions, etc.
- Proficiency in core testing methodologies — regression, smoke, exploratory
- Experience collaborating with multiple development teams in a structured environment
- English level: B2
- Consistent overlap with Eastern US time zone
- Strong self-management and reliability with a stable part-time workload (~5 hours/day)
