We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Quality Engineer to join our team. In this strategic role, you will own the end-to-end quality process—from strategy conception to execution—while driving innovation across our QA practices. You will build and refine guidelines, spearhead process improvements, and ensure our releases consistently meet the highest standards of excellence. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of defining and implementing quality best practices, hands-on experience in test automation and promoting excellence and continuous improvement across QA discipline.

Responsibilities
● Quality Management and Strategy: You will actively participate in
defining and implementing the QA strategy, ensuring that quality
standards and best practices are effectively integrated throughout the
entire development lifecycle.
● Automation Design and Execution: You will design, develop, and
maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing to validate
services' functionality, reliability, and performance. You will
contribute to decisions regarding architecture, tools, and scope to
maximize efficiency and coverage.
● Driving Continuous Improvement: You will actively contribute to
continuous improvement by researching, prototyping, and
implementing new technologies and methodologies that optimize
quality processes from a technical perspective and help to reduce
technical debt within a fast-moving, agile environment.
● Strategic Collaboration: You will work closely with product,
DevOps, and development teams to ensure that technical quality is a
fundamental pillar in day-to-day decision-making, and that our CI/CD
process is effective and reliable.

Requirements
● Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile
setting.
● Proven experience creating QA test plans and generating detailed and well-structured test cases.
● Deep experience applying and optimizing QA practices within
multidisciplinary teams, with a focus on continuous integration

(CI/CD), version control systems, and modern software development
practices.
● Ability to produce clear technical reports and effectively communicate QA results and needs to stakeholders.
● Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, process improvement, critical
thinking, and problem-solving skills.
● Experience improving and checking distributed systems architectures, spotlighting engineering issues or reducing tech-debt. Strong knowledge of REST architectures.
● Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles to ensure a high-
quality end-user experience.
● Experience with test automation frameworks for web apps in frontend layer and tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Jest or
Postman.
● Experience on API testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
● Solid experience with debugging, logging analysis, and root cause
investigation of application issues.
● Track record in defining, implementing, and optimizing quality
strategies for software systems.

Preferred Experience
● A strong grasp of formal testing fundamentals (ISTQB certification is
a plus).
● Familiarity with advanced testing areas like web performance (Core
Web Vitals) and security testing (SAST/DAST).
Experience with our tech stack: JS/TypeScript, React and Node.
● Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), X-Ray, or Datadog.

Other requirements:
● Required Spanish level: Conversational is enough but mandatory.
● English level: Conversational level is not required. Reading
comprehension and writing is a plus.
