We are seeking a motivated and skilled Middle WordPress Developer to join our growing BESTIA development team.
You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress-based websites and web applications — ensuring clean, maintainable code and smooth user experience.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow technically while contributing to international client projects.

General requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience in WordPress development;
• Proven experience in creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins;
• Solid knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+);
• Experience working with ACF, WooCommerce, WPML or similar plugins;
• Understanding of WordPress architecture, optimization, and security basics;

• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows;

  
  
  Would be a plus:

• Experience in REST API integration or headless WordPress;
• Understanding of SEO and website performance optimization;
• Experience in supporting and improving existing WordPress projects.
  
  Your main responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain WordPress websites and web applications for global clients;
• Build and customize themes, plugins, and integrations based on technical requirements;
• Collaborate with the design and backend teams to ensure seamless implementation;
• Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and security;
• Write clean, maintainable, and documented code following best practices;
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues in staging or production environments;
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and release preparation;
• Continuously learn and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
